Adding Liquidity

Liquidity Pool (LP) Tokens

When you add your token to a Liquidity Pool you will receive Liquidity Provider (LP) tokens and share in the fees. As an example, if you deposited GEG and BNB into a Liquidity Pool, you'd receive GEG-BNB LP tokens. The number of LP tokens you receive represents your portion of the GEG-BNB LP which the APY will be calculated and displayed in GemStone Finance (GeFi).

Adding liquidity

To provide liquidity, you’ll need to commit an amount of any token pair you like. Your lowest value (in USD) of the two tokens will be the limit to the liquidity you can provide. In this example, we will add liquidity using GEG and BNB.
1. Visit the Liquidity page in the Trade column. Click on the Add Liquidity button to start adding liquidity.
2. This guide will be showing how to create GEG-BNB LP before you proceed to stake in GeFi stake pool. Choose the correct input pair and remember to insert the correct GeGem (GEG) contract address.
GEG Contract Address : 0x99dAB6065951BecaC1dECBaC0C1A16b9BbF12913
3. Enter an amount on one of the tokens under “Input” and the rest will calculate automatically. Approve your token by clicking Enable GEG.
4. Click on Supply to create GEG-BNB LP. A window will appear saying how much you will receive. Click the Confirm Supply button. Your wallet will ask you to confirm the action.
You can repeat the steps above to add more liquidity at any time.
After a short wait, you will see your LP Token balance at the bottom of the page. You can now proceed to GemStone Finance (GeFi) to begin your staking.
